When I first started this Rich20Something, I knew I had a message I wanted to share with other young people.
Simply put - you don’t have to do work that you hate. You don’t have to be chained to a desk or stuck in a dead end job. You can figure out what you’re good at and work for yourself.
It’s not always easy, but it’s totally doable. In my posts, I try to give you honest insight into what I’ve done that works…and what’s failed miserably.
I’ve started four profitable businesses the past 18 months:
- A college entrance test prep company
- A web design company
- A consulting business
- This blog
And I’m working on my fifth as we speak. It’s top secret.
All this is great — but it’s not meant to be a brag-fest. The best part about launching these businesses is that I’m uniquely positioned to help you figure out how to launch yours. That’s what I’m here for.
Last month marked the 1-year anniversary of launching this site. I’d almost forgotten (I’m a much better boyfriend than blogger…), but I wanted to celebrate by sharing something really cool with you.
I recently did a rare AMA (ask-me-anything) on Reddit.com. Basically anyone there could ask me anything they liked and I answered it with a short video.
In the AMA I share detailed video answers to over a dozen of your most pressing questions, such as:
- “Daniel…how much money do I actually need to start a business?”
- “Hey Daniel, how can I find something that I’m actually passionate about — and if I can’t find something, am I doomed?”
- “Psst, Daniel, how do I get over my fear of starting/failing/ lack of followthrough?”
- And so much more
Check out the AMA here, and after you watch, leave some fresh questions for me to answer in the comments below. I’ll answer as many as I can.
